Membership Retention Playbook

We all know how important recruitment is to
growing and maintaining your chorus, but we also believe that having a strong retention plan is
equally (if not more) crucial for chorus health. If you can retain the members you have, you can
focus less on the need to constantly grow and more on fostering your current chorus culture –
leading to a more satisfactory chorus experience for everyone

The Magic & Mystery of Stagecraft
                 LIVE edition!

Stagecraft appears in both the Visual Communication & Entertainment categories of the JCDB. “Stagecraft are the theatrical tools that are created to assist the performer in bringing the music to life on the stage. When used creatively and effectively, the audience is unaware of the technical elements as individual items and instead enjoys a total performance experience" (JCDB, 2020.) Stagecraft encompasses choreography, staging, costuming, makeup/hair, props/stage decoration and non-singing moments.
