There will be something for EVERYONE, even if you’re not in a quartet (yet). Karen will teach us how to warm up, how to blend voices, how to rehearse, AND there will be quartet demonstrations. Want more? Sure! The Region will provide one-hour of free quartet coaching with regional faculty to 8 lucky quartets (random draw, more detailed info later) PLUS Karen will teach tags galore so we all can mix and match voices after class. Lots of singing, lots of learning, lots of laughter, lots of fun.

YES!!!!  IN PERSON at the First Congregational Church in Greeley, Colorado - a beautiful facility.

Updated COVID Protocols for Quartet Workshop

With new information from the CDC and the federal government, we’re adjusting the testing issue for the workshop. We still are asking that everyone test negative within 72 hours of attending, however, we are opening up our testing requirements.

  • PCR Tests – Yes, if you can get an appointment and you’re willing get this test, take the test. Get your results, and bring a printout of those results to the weekend, or be able to call it up on your phone for us to see.
  • Rapid Test – YES, There are a number of local and national chain pharmacies that are providing Rapid Tests, i.e., Antigen Tests. These are fine. Again, just bring the results to the workshop so we can check you off. See the linked document below that lists the testing sites for each state. These places generally send you a text with your results. You must show those results when you check in at the workshop. Also, please check in your area. Some Urgent Care facilities are providing the Rapid Antigen Tests, and these generally are much less expensive than the full PCR test in the event you don’t have insurance coverage.
  • Home Tests – YES, The Binax Home test will now be accepted. For these tests, we ask that you have a witness (proctor) to your testing and results. Use the linked form below for your witness to sign attesting to your negative result. That form must be turned in when checking in. We do ask that if you choose this option, please do it as close to the workshop as possible. Preferably the day before. Taking it upon your arrival may prove to be a day late in the event you turn up positive.

Remember, your testing must be complete within 72 hours of the workshop. We understand that appointments have been tight in some areas, and that results aren’t coming back as quickly as people would hope. That is why we have opened up the testing requirements, as well as the more recent recognition of home testing by the federal government

If you have paid your registration for the workshop, and then have to withdraw due to a positive test, your registration will be refunded. Our sole intent as we move forward is to get us all back to doing what we love and to do the best we can to keep everyone safe.
